Anlässlich der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2018 lädt das Kunstzentrum ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) zum ‚YOUNG_GEORGIAN_CHARACTERS@AF‘ Festival.
Einen Monat lang öffnet das AF zu Ehren des diesjährigen Gastlandes Georgien der Frankfurter Buchmesse seine Türen und präsentiert eine Vielzahl an Veranstaltungen georgischer Kunst und Kultur.

Zwei Ausstellungen – „The Future is Ours“ und „DESCRIPTIONS“ – Buchpräsentationen, Screenings, Diskussionen, ein Symposium und eine Party geben einen Einblick in die vielfältige kulturelle Szene Georgiens.

Ein besondere Fokus liegt auf der gegenwärtigen georgischen Jugendkultur und deren komplexes Verhältnis mit Geschichte und Tradition

Die Veranstaltungen des Festivals sind Kooperationen mit oder werden unterstützt von:

On the occasion of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018, the art center ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) will be hosting the ‚YOUNG_GEORGIAN_CHARACTERS@AF‘ festival.

For one month, AF is opening its doors to honor Georgia – the guest country at the Frankfurt Book Fair – with a variety of cultural events. Two exhibitions – ‘The Future is ours’ and ‘DESCRIPTIONS’ –book presentations, screenings, discussions, a symposium and a party will give an insight into the diverse cultural scene of Georgia.

A particular emphasis will be placed on the emerging voice of Georgia’s youth culture and their complex relationship with history and tradition.
